About Me

My name is Mark Wiens but I sometimes go by Migration Mark.

I live a spontaneous lifestyle of unplanned migrations.

Growing up in France, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, and the USA, introduced me to a migratory behavioral pattern.  After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in Global Studies, I set out to pursue Migrationology.

Since then I have taken a TESOL course in Buenos Aires, trekked in Patagonia, eaten daily 2 kilo steaks in Montevideo, feasted on entire goat carcasses in Nairobi, watched lions and elephants in Tanzania, viewed Orangutan’s in Sumatra, visited stunning temples like Angkor Wat in Cambodia, taught English at camps in Thailand, volunteered in the Philippines, and engorged myself in epicurean masterpieces around the World.

I am a world wanderer, an adventure enthusiast, a cultural connector, a skilled spicy food connoisseur, a relaxing erudite, and a buffet finisher.  I write about world travel from an unplanned migration around the world.
